Courtney KenyonPastry Chef
As Pastry Chef, Courtney Kenyon oversees the restaurant’s bread, dessert and viennoiserie offerings while leading the growing pastry team at Bouchon Coral Gables.
Raised in Illinois, Courtney began her career at various Chicago-based restaurants, including C Chicago, Northpond and Oriole, where she became head pastry chef at 23. She then moved to Miami in 2022 and joined the pastry team at L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon before setting her sights on Coral Gables.
Courtney attributes her early success in the kitchen to her mother and grandmother, who, throughout her childhood, taught her how to prepare desserts. Courtney holds a certification in French Baking and Pastry Arts from École Nationale Supérieure de Pâtisserie in Yssingeaux, France, and a degree in Baking Pastry from Johnson and Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island. Courtney was also nominated for a Jean Banchet Award for Rising Pastry Chef of the Year in 2019.
