General Manager

John Oyarzun brings a wealth of operational and management experience to his role as General Manager at Ad Hoc. He previously served as the General Manager at Easy Rider Southern Restaurant & Cocktail Bar in Sonoma, where he played a key role in crafting their beverage program and helped the restaurant earn Sonoma’s ‘Best New Restaurant’ title for two consecutive years. John also has a strong background from his time managing well-known Bay Area spots like The Flatiron, Caputo, Boca Tavern and Boca Pizzeria.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, John is committed to community service. He coaches youth basketball and has been actively involved in disaster relief efforts, including organizing a team to prepare and serve 300 dinners for first responders at Santa Rosa Junior College during a critical period of wildfire recovery.

John’s connection to food and hospitality began at an early age during visits to his aunt’s working ranch in Chile, where he cared for animals and learned to prepare food. He later returned to Chile and played four years of professional basketball.
